前言
"我把色塊看作一個能量體,可以使你探索自己和了解別人，不同的側面折射出不同的色彩，融入我們的生活影響我們的情緒,萬物都有連結。" 陶然是一位視覺感知者，也是一個感性的“白日夢幻想家”。在他的視野中，一切的多維物體都可以趨於扁平，一切的抽象輪廓又能夠被解讀成具象的生命。強烈的色彩撞擊及特殊的筆觸肌理以實驗性和遞進式的方式呈現，並成為了他獨有的個人“符號”。他的作品隨情緒釋放，充滿孩童時的幻想、以及對當代經典元素的解構與人對物的情感轉移。
當美術館作為藝術家長期且唯一的創作場域，便不再稱為“藝術的墳墓”——它是靈感的繆斯，是治愈與滿足自我的“療愈所”。特殊的是，陶然的創作軌跡與“別處美術館”的成長是並行的，正是浸潤在這棟近乎百年的老洋房裡，使得他的創作與生活密切相連，並引發普世性的人生思考。
此次別處美術館將線性地呈現藝術家陶然最新創作的三個系列的作品，是屬於“白日夢”與現實的交融之後的——沉澱下來的關乎人文思考到藝術美學的多維度療愈之旅。
Preface
"I regard the color lump as the energy cube, which enables you to explore yourself and understand others. Different sides reflect different colors, integrating into our life and controlling our emotions." Tao Ran is a visual perceiver and a perceptual "Daydreamer". In his vision, all multidimensional objects can be flattened, and all the abstract outlines can be interpreted as concrete life. Strong color contrast and special marks of his drawing become his unique personal "symbol". With the release of emotion, his works are full of childhood fantasy and also contain the deconstruction of contemporary typical elements and the emotional transfer from people to things.
When the gallery is the only field for artists to create for a period of long time, it is no longer called "the tomb of art" - it is the Muse of inspiration and the"Reverie Lab" for healing and satisfying himself. In particular, Tao Ran's creative track parallels the growth of "Ailleurs Arts Museum. It is in this nearly 100 year house that Tao Ran's creation is closely connected with“Ailleurs”.
The three new series of works created by artist Tao Ran will be displayed linearly in Ailleurs Gallary. It is a multidimensional healing journey from humanistic thinking to art aesthetics after the blending of reverie and reality.

2017年8月我來到美術館，站在大院門口望去這兩棟民國時期的小樓，不覺感嘆小隱於野大隱於市。我想，如今冷清的老房子，以前一定也熱鬧過，我雖然沒經歷過她的繁華，但我能想像出她的喧鬧。之後與主創人在不斷的飲茶中思考，學習和打掃。一飲滌昏寐、再飲清我神、三飲便得道。別處美術館應運而生，轉眼已三載。
本次展出的作品都是在美術館工作期間完成，有的是童心未泯的白日夢、有的是以物抒情的理想主義，所表達的一切都是在解釋和分析情感和生命。
這些畫自由、輕快、無拘無束，但如果你認為他們是漫不經心，一蹴而就的畫上去，那你就錯了。我利用的筆觸、線條和色塊表現主觀思想和自身感受，所畫的每一筆也都是一個決定，一次選擇，這不僅僅是關乎美，而是對時尚的敏感，對色彩的把握，和內心的感受。就是自由幻想和深思熟慮的結果。
在《生命巡邏隊系列》中，我有機的運用各種媒材所創造出新的富有生命力的視覺語言，試圖重建賞畫方式。從德拉克洛瓦發現固有色的變化及色彩的對比關係，到印象主義根據光色原理對色彩進行大膽革新。繪畫的過程也是修心的過程，只有不斷修行才能不斷提升。相信藝術能給予靈魂真正的平靜。
